What information do we collect about you?

The lawful basis for collecting and processing your personal data is because you have entered into a legal contract with us

We collect information about when you complete a booking form in hard paper, electronically or online by use of the booking form embedded in the website, a Licence Agreement, raise or receive an invoice, or provide contact details. We also collect information when you voluntarily complete customer surveys and provide feedback. Website usage information is collected using cookies.

 We do not process sensitive personal data, data about children or convictions.

Other personal data could be collected from public accessible data e.g. Companies House and Charity Commission

There is not any automated data processing in place.

How will we use the information about you?

The Boston Volunteer Centre Charity (company limited by guarantee) (company registered number 3441399) (charity registration number 1069816) owns and manages the Len Medlock Voluntary Centre on behalf of its users. It is a shared building accommodating charities, not for profit organisations and similar.

We may therefore pass your data to other users of the Centre if we think this may be for the benefit of the users. This is on the basis that it would be in the legitimate interests of us and/or the other users of the Centre.

We collect information about you to process your room booking request or enter into Licence Agreement, manage your account and, if you agree, to email you about events at The Len Medlock Voluntary Centre.

Boston Volunteer Centre Charity will not share your information for marketing purposes outside the existing users of The Len Medlock Voluntary Centre.

Marketing

We may wish to send you information about events and facilities at the Len Medlock Voluntary Centre.  This would usually be in conjunction with other users of the Centre.  If you have consented to receive marketing, then you may withdraw your consent at any time.

You have a right at any time to stop us from contacting you for marketing purposes or giving your information to other users of The Len Medlock Voluntary Centre.

Access to your information and correction and/or removal

We will retain the hard copy booking forms for 2 years and invoices received and raised will be kept for 6 years.

You have the right to request a copy of the information we hold about you. If you would like a copy of some, or all the personal information, please email or write to us at the following address.

We want to make sure that your personal information is accurate and up to date.

You have the right to:
